The church All Saints (Site Svetiteli) - Lesani

Raspetie Hristovo The village Lesani is located about 25 km from Ohrid along the motorway Ohrid - Kicevo, in the immediate vicinity of the right turn to village Botun. There in 1452 the church All Saints (Si Sveti) was built and fresco painted. It is a small , one-naval church, built from stone and limestone. Right next to it, a more recent church was built.

The frescoes, painted by an unknown author, are distinguishable by the extraordinary colours. Some fragments indicate that the church had frescoes on the outside walls as well. The author of the frescoes was obviously a talented fresco painter.
